Sep 23   -  The Gulf Coast Daylily, speaker: Everett Crainer

2:00 - 3:00pm

Daylily gardeners are happier people!  They have more energy and zest for life waiting for the new bloom season.  Daylilies are dreams waiting to be lived!  Everett Crainer hybridizes daylilies on his farm in Brazoria County, and includes "Gulf Coast" as part of their registered names, such as his 2016 introduction 'Gulf Coast Wave Catcher'.  He seeks out flowers with well-branched hardy scapes and fantastic foliage that do well in our weather to produce daylilies that thrive in our climate.  Join us to hear his expert advice on hybridizing.
